Today, the story of Sorso continues as a personal project, but coffee is still the reason it exists.

Once Upon a Sorso
Sorso Corto is the first project developed by us as team.
We are talking about a portable coffe machine, thought with the open design approach. Designing it was a long and fun journey.
The Story of Sorso
Sorso was born during theDesign by Componentsclasses of the Master’s Degree in Systemic Design at the Politecnico di Torino. It started as a group project developed by five students – Rachele Bardella, Fabiana Bodda, Giorgia Bodda, Alberto Cavallero, and Han Wang – and later evolved into a master’s thesis by Alberto and Rachele.
After the thesis, Sorso continues today as a personal project, carried forward through research, experimentation, and prototyping.
